Instrument Training 

  • Age: Minimum of 17 years old to earn the certificate. 
  • Medical: Hold at least a third-class FAA medical certificate.
  • Prerequisites: Minimum of 50 hrs cross country PIC
  • Knowledge: Pass the FAA Written Knowledge Test.
  • Practical: Pass an oral and flight examination (Checkride).
  • Language: Be proficient in reading, speaking, and understanding English.
